Our Story
In 2020, at a time when global tourism had nearly come to a standstill, Gisera boldly founded Tanzania Southern Safari in Dar es Salaam. While many saw uncertainty, she saw opportunity. With years of experience in the tourism industry and a deep belief in Tanzania’s natural beauty, she started small—working from a modest office and building strong partnerships with local guides and lodges, especially in the southern circuit like Ruaha and Nyerere National Parks. She personally handled inquiries and carefully crafted authentic safari experiences for her early clients.
As travel gradually recovered, her dedication and attention to detail earned glowing reviews and steady growth. Tanzania Southern Safari expanded its services, hired a team, and moved into a larger office in Dar es Salaam. Today, the company is successful and respected, welcoming travelers from around the world and continuing to showcase Tanzania’s wildlife, culture, and landscapes with passion and professionalism.
